In plain English
Renews Blanding's existing 0.1% sales tax for parks and recreation for another ten years, at the same rate.
A yes vote
Keeps Blanding's 0.1% sales tax, first approved by voters in 2007, for ten more years, until 2036. The money can only be spent on public recreation facilities such as parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, swimming pools and trails. The sales tax rate does not change.
A no vote
Lets the tax end. Blanding's sales tax rate goes down by 0.1%, and the city no longer receives this money for parks and recreation facilities.
